Clue is an easy-to-find app, you can download and install it effortlessly from the App Store and Play Store. You only need about 12 MB of free storage space, and you're all set. And the plus: the Clue cycle app is completely free.
The design is pleasant from the very beginning. It is not an extremely girly app in candy pink with flowers and hearts. On the contrary, Clue is rather simple and easy on the eyes. Furthermore, the app seems to have been updated and is even better since then. All of this already indicates that positive things are to be expected from this app.
A user-friendly interface
We begin the adventure by entering relevant information about our menstrual cycle, such as the date of the last period or the average cycle length, the first day of the period, the frequency of intercourse, whether we suffer from dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, or premenstrual syndrome, what the symptoms are, whether our ovaries or uterus hurt, the frequency and type of bleeding (whether our period is heavy, irregular, etc.), etc. We also specify the contraceptive method used, whether we would like to receive reminder messages, whether we are trying to get pregnant, and when we ovulate. Immediately after confirming our input, the miracle happens: an intuitive user interface appears. The cycle app Clue displays practical information for each cycle as well as the current stage. Everything is indicated: the duration of the period, the fertile time, PMS, the number of days until the next period, and the next fertile days.

Clue is a fairly precise app when it comes to data and its forecasts. After several months of testing, we found only a few not very serious inaccuracies. The app is quite reliable, and we appreciated this aspect very much.

All in all, Clue is a very comprehensive menstruation tracking app and complements our menstrual panties perfectly. This app is available in two versions, the free and the paid version, like the Glow app, its little sister Menstrual Period Tracker or the Flo app and My Cycles Period. The paid version is more powerful, but the free version already offers features that are more than enough: tracking, information, and forecasts, everything is there. Moreover, everything is presented clearly. With this app, there is one more reason to use your smartphone wisely. Those who are using contraception really need to use it because their period can vary significantly. Between hormonal changes and sexual disturbances, it is essential to keep an eye on it. Clue, the menstruation tracking app, is packed with many useful tips for overall health. It is always nice to be reminded of what happened to us in the previous month by looking at the calendar.
Of course, the app can still be improved further. A bit more detail would be nice. The developers could, for example, offer information such as additional moods, the type of spiral, or sleep times. These are just details, but they would make the application even more practical and distinguish it from other apps of this kind. Overall, however, Clue fulfills its function perfectly.
