Instructions: To properly care for your period underwear, first dampen it with cold or lukewarm water💧 and then apply the wet soap🧼. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then gently rub the fabric against itself. Afterwards, you can wash the underwear by hand 🫱🏽 or in the washing machine. After drying, it has a light fragrance 🌸 to provide you with a pleasant feeling of freshness throughout the day.

Care Tips
To maximize the absorbency of your period underwear, you should wash it twice before use. To ensure it lasts as long as possible – because Sisters Republic period underwear is washable and reusable for several years – we also recommend:
1/ Rinse the underwear with cold water immediately after taking it off until the water runs clear.
2/ Wash it with the "synthetics" program at 30°C with the rest of your laundry (don't worry, everything will be fine).
We recommend placing your period panties in a laundry bag or in the Sisters Republic 3-in-1 pouch when washing in the machine. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach.
3/ Let air dry and do not use a dryer.
Don't have a washing machine? Use our stain remover soap, which protects the absorbent fabric of our underwear.

Tips for putting together your pack
Depending on the length of your cycle, short or long, you will need 4 to 10 panties. If you want to wear your menstrual panties day and night and wash them all at the end of your cycle, you will need between 8 and 10 panties. If you want to wash them to reuse several times during your cycle, 4 to 5 panties will be sufficient. You need at least one panty for the day and one for the night, multiplied by the number of days your period lasts.

Why should I use the stain soap?
This allows you to hand wash your underwear if you don't have a washing machine – or to remove stubborn blood stains before machine washing.
Can stain soap replace machine washing?
Yes! If you wash your underwear by hand with it, it will be just as clean as after a wash cycle in the machine.
Why is your stain soap better than conventional soap for period underwear?
Quite simple: Conventional soaps are often too harsh and contain glycerin, which can damage the fabrics. Our formula contains mild cleansing agents that are gentle on the fabric yet effectively remove stubborn blood stains.
